That's it. In a breeze, Term 1 of 2006 had already passed. Tis was the transition period for me between secondary school and junior college. Yupz. Now more or less can adapt to AJ's surroundings le. Events like the 2 orientations have helped in a big way. Once again, I'll not forget the (once strangers, now...) friends from Arbol (1st intake) and Teca (2nd intake). Today was another string of talks with respect to AJC's Student Affairs, PCCG, NE, PE and IT progs. Aiya, all those non-acad stuff larz. Then an activity not seen in orientation 1 : bonding session between J1 and J2 classes. Teca was paired up with 10/05, a rather funky class as we found out soon afterward. We were lucky to hav the bonding session in the Nexus, and I also realised that the president of AVA was from this PDG too! Kayz, now I've no regrets signing up for AVA. =) Everything was over by 1400 hrs. And that also spells the official end of Novitas 2. Saddening. Many of the Teca members didn't turn up today for some reason or the other. Some disappeared midway into the day's programme. As a result we couldn't take a group photo for Teca, unlike Arbol, which I'm still keeping the photo safely in the cupboard. Bought uniforms and checked the temporary lecture schedule before going back. Haiz. Really miss the days of fun and laughter. But life has to move on. The ultimate goal of enrolling into a JC is to excel in the A levels. So, when term 2 begins 20/3/06, it's time for serious work. And perhaps another round of ice-breaking in the making? Rmb, the J1s will be arranged into PDGs depending on their subject combi. Hope there's at least one classmate, by then, whom i can recognise. (sec sch fren, 1st intaker, etc etc...) Otherwise, I might find myself dragged down into the depths of loneliness. Again.
