first day of my A levels : disaster .the questions for H1 physics paper 2 were kinda unconventional , so different from what i had seen from past year ten-year-series questions .perhaps this would be an ominous sign .that the remaining papers will also be unconventional .that will catch many candidates by surprise .

countdown to A levels : seven days .hmm .today was kinda meaningless like most other days .in fact it sort of resembled the events last tuesday .firstly , visit to the market at hougang ave 3 in the morning .followed by a trip to AMK Hub in the afternoon .and ending off with dinner at the coffee shop along AMK ave 6 .reached home at 8.30 .showered and turned on audition as usual .and i tried something new today .seeing how accomplished some players at bunk were with beat up (zero miss for Audition - You at level 3) , i tried to emulate their success but to no avail of course .after all , i'm still a newbie at this .
next pic : a quick snapshot of the beat up interface .here , i'd like to thank -genX-rinoa for giving me tips on how to score more by activating the chance mode at the bottom left of the screen .
finally , i ended off with Christmas Party at level 2 .well , it would have looked better with zero misses . -_-
okay .it's time to go to bed already .cos there's school tmr . >.<but well , at least it will be convenient to visit bunk afterwards .

countdown to A levels : eight days .
woots .
i skipped GP timed practice this morning .
first time ever in my jc life , and probably the last too .
it was supposed to start at 8 but i woke up at 8.30 .
so decided to simply give it a miss altogether . >.<
anyways , if you happen to be a Britain , here are three reasons why the past week is a forgettable one :
1) Soccer : Steve Mclaren's men were defeated by Russia 1-2 in a crucial Euro 2008 qualifier . The team is now in danger of missing out on a top two slot in Group E .
2) Rugby : England failed to avenge the 0-36 humiliation in the group stages as they succumbed to South Africa (aka Springboks) 6-15 in the Rugby World Cup final .
3) Formula One : Lewis Hamiliton allowed a seven-point advantage to slip away at the Brazil Grand Prix , managing only a 7th-place finish . Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen accomplished the near impossible by emerging victorious and clinch the world championship by a solitary point (110 vs 109) .
okay .
that's all for today , gtg play auditionsea and chiong to lvl 18 . (:

results for the three EPL matches i had predicted :1) Aston Villa 1 Man United 4 [predict(P) : 1-2]Reduced to nine men by the final whistle , Villa could find no answer to a brace from Wayne Rooney , one from the evergreen Ryan Giggs and surprisingly , even Rio Ferdinand got into the scoresheet (though Villa did give their opponents an early scare with a 13th-minute opener from Gabriel Agbonlahor) . Now I understand what is meant by United's goal sources coming from all departments - defence , midfield , and forward that makes many teams in the EPL fearful of their attacking prowess .2) Blackburn 4 Reading 2 [P : 2-0]Wow . This reminds me of the 3-3 goal feast when the two teams clashed in the final round of fixtures last season . This time round , three early goals from the Rovers gave the Royals no chance whatsoever of any possible recovery , and a late brace from Kevin Doyle offered little consolation of for the visitors , who have now picked up just a single point out of a possible 15 from their away games so far .3) Middlesbrough 0 Chelsea 2 [P : 1-1]
Boro did work hard in the first half , even after trailing from an exquisite conversion by Didler Drogba in the eighth minute . Unfortunately , after Alex netted in the second on 57 minutes , there was no turning back for Gareth Southgate's men .

countdown to A levels : 10 more days .sad to say , i haven't really studied much over the past week .practised some maths questions from other school prelims .but that's about all that i've done for revision .this coming week i'll definitely take time to off revise physics .to make a final brush-up of the key definitions .after all , definitions make up 20% of the physics paper .AJ's IVLE e-learning website is still under construction .it's been over five days and the problem has yet to be resolved ?this drags any longer it will probably become the joke of the town .for those readers who might miss my (inaccurate) predictions for the EPL , you're in for a treat .here are my predictions for three of the matches this weekend .don't ask me why i chose these fixtures , i selected them by random .the Everton vs Liverpool derby clash , unfortunately , has already kicked off at this moment so there really isn't any point predicting the scoreline for it .1) Aston Villa 1 Manchester United 2- United had never lost against Villa since the 1995/96 season , but recent encounters (from the 2004/05 season onwards) suggest that another narrow scoreline will be likely , as there were very few occasions where United emerged victorious by any margin wider than the solitary goal .- While some may argue that Villa is a resolute side at home (look at the way they downed Chelsea 2-0 at Villa Park) , the squad inevitably has less depth when compared to United's .- But don't expect United to win big . Their strikers still don't look too convincing in front of goal even after the 4-0 mauling of Wigan Athletic in the previous fixture .- Hence , I'm going with a goal-less scoreline at half time before the goals start trickling in late in the second half .2) Blackburn 2 Reading 0- Reading's performance this season is a far cry in comparison to their maiden season in the top flight .- In the corresponding fixture last season , the two sides fought out a 3-3 goal feast which denied the Royals a place in the UEFA Cup by a single goal .- While Steve Coppell's men will be determined to make amends , their poor form away from home is still a concern , having yet to pick up a single point in their away fixtures this season .- Therefore , I believe the Rovers' consistent style of play will be sufficient to see off their opponents this time round , with one goal to be scored in each half .3) Middlesbrough 1 Chelsea 1- Few would have remembered how Boro disposed of the Blues in the second round of fixtures last season .- While it is unlikely for them to repeat such heroics this time round , against a Chelsea side missing John Terry (knee) and Ashley Cole (ankle) , Boro can still stand their ground at the Riverside , having scored 1.8 goals per game on average in their home fixtures so far .- I will be expecting the goals to come only in the second half . As for which team will score first , it's 50-50 and i can't say for sure .

well , more audition pix for this post .i guess i'm getting addicted to it at the wrong time .but oh what the heck .first pic : taken on 5 oct .the night after the maple patch 0.47 was completed .the patch was huge at 117 mb , and perhaps too many ppl were downloading the patch at the same time .i tried to download it but the transfer rate was a paltry 6 kbps .so i login into audi and whoa . what a crowd man .all the 8 channels in free server and at full or nearly full capacity .
second pic : also taken 5 oct .i went to buy some cash items .after which the remaining cash amount took me by surprise .4.2 billion cash . o_Ounfortunately it was just a bug .when i did a re-login i was left with 1352 cash .zzz .
remaining pix : taken 7 oct .trained one-two party today .with music set as the fastest song possible .(ie. Audition - Magic World at 185 bpm)well , i guess there's still room for improvement ?

.jpg)
after i got tired of one-two party , i went to download the big maple patch for my laptop .
and the transfer rate was like wow .
okay .
that's all for tdy .
gotta carry on with maths revision .

first , let me start off with some good news .
my wish was granted .
i scored Ds for geog and physics and B for gp .
okay la .
i admit this isn't anywhere near impressive .
but at least i passed anyways .
still , my mind continues to think about that same old thing .
when i kept reflecting on how badly i did for maths and econs , i'd lose any motivation i originally in studying the two subjects .last night was the first time i actually managed to shut out the distractions of AuditionSEA by practising some core math questions from TJ's prelim '07 .
in preparation for tmr's mock exam .
to be exact , i attempted about seven questions in 2 hours .
i guess i'd have to work much faster than this rate in the exam though .
okay .
will update again soon cos i've run out of things to talk about .
going to bunk after school tdy to train more on 8k ~
