oh man. the first component of Project Work, "Preliminary Ideas (PI)", is already a tall order to complete. draft is to be done by next monday, supervising tutor says, but next mon all will be following fri's timetable cuz AJ is commemorating International Friendship Day on 31 mar, so mon's timetable will be swapped with fri's. which means, no PW lessons until thurs. but i still have to work on my topic, development of the telecommunications industry in singapore. my home computer broke down last evening, meaning that any research will have to be done in school. so here i am. =) actually, my mind is in a mess now. i wonder why there are so many requirements to be met just for PI alone. even after clarifying with my supervising tutor, i still can't catch the flow. indeed, completing a task like this requires some sort of organisation of ideas. and everybody knows i'm the type who lives for the present, so i don't really care. however, PW is an exam subject, not the IPW we did in secondary school. perhaps i should start getting serious and stop complaining and whining about trivial stuff. this simply doesn't get me anywhere. maybe i need some inspiration from the 18th commonwealth games' paticipants, that perseverance and hard work gives rise to success. was nominated econs rep today. our subject tutor, mr toh, speaks english really fluently (he's also a GP tutor. no wonder.) and being his right-hand man (ie. assistant) will definitely improve my conversational skills over time. sort of relieved that i got nominated, cuz i know very well that i do not have the ability to lead a class of 22. yups. prefer subject rep over class leader. okie, need to continue researching on the PW topic now. till next time..
