(backtrack to ytd...)

it was valentine's day, yes.
but i chose to be occupied with other things.
and the rehearsal for fri's chinese new year concert really helped.
after the rehearsal, i rushed home immediately.
then went to hawker centre in changi village.
reunion dinner. (:
everyone from my mother's side was present.
and they took the opportunity to catch up with one another over past happenings.

about the food..
crispy beancurd was delicious, but apparently too much flavouring was added.
green vegetables were nice, the fried ikan bilis complemented the dish well.
steamed fish was fresh.
skipped the oysters and chilli crabs though.
never really liked seafood in the first place.
except fish perhaps. (:

the adults talked, talked and talked.
while the children went to play around.
parted ways at about 9.30pm.

so, back to the present.

well, i just had an essay time-practice.
and i wrote about "To what extent is terrorism a pressing problem in the world today?".
and i think the last part of the essay kinda screw le.
cos i used 'sustaining economic growth' as a counter point.
but that can't be considered a problem, it's more of a country's aims!
gosh.
made a bad mistake there.
but should be able to pass this essay la.
the other points i stated are quite relevant after all.

earlier part of the day was business as usual.
was half awake throughout both maths n physics lectures.
econs tutorial, surprisingly, was quite livened up.
though it was the first period.
if only every session's like that.

it's confirmed.
econs got assignments over the chinese new year break.
sian.
not to forget have to make a poster on global warming and its effects on the economy for geog.
that's groupwork.
but it must be in by next wed.
and i'll only return next tues.
so have to complete by tmr i guess.
cos i'll be departing on sat before daybreak.

the countdown continues.
and so, it's less than 38 hours before the much awaited journey begins.
