here i am again, blogging after a seemingly long weekend.
*warning: this will be a LONG post...*

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
part 1: cross-country.
enjoyed myself throughout the 2.5km fun run.
good scenery, not too harsh weather conditions.
just a pity that i didn't win anything for the lucky draw.
better luck next time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

part 2: the "eventful" weekend.

03 feb

the day after cross country.
wasn't too tired though.
went to "that place" as usual.
trained maple for about four hours before returning home.

04 feb

i usually stayed home on sundays.
today was an exception, for some reason which i choose not to elaborate on.
dropped by "that place" again for about one hour.
then rushed home to prepare for swimming class at 5.30.
practised backstroke until vomit blood.
lols.
walked back home after lesson.
midway, my left leg got bitten by red ants, of all things.
that leg is still recovering from a minor sprain, and now this.
zzz. unlucky sia.

and my mood only got worse during dinnertime.
visited some hawker centre in bedok. (with parents n relatives, as usual)
couldn't find a clean table so settled for a dirty one.
five mins passed. ten. fifteen.
and there wasn't a cleaner in sight.
one cleaner passed by after twenty mins.
but she said she wasn't responsible for that area.

and i was like "what the heck lor".
it's saddening that even cleaners have this kind of attitude problem.
which i thought only existed among the younger generation.
we eventually moved to two joined tables within the adjacent wet market.
and when the food came, i just didn't stop. too fed up to care le >.<

chicken cutlet rice (only consumed 1/2 chicken cutlet).
a small plate of bee hoon.
fried kway teow.
1/4 plate mee goreng.
these were what i had for dinner that night.

moral of story?
if you see me in a bad mood, just get me loads of stuff to eat.
i mean LOADS. (snacks are useless btw -_-)
and i'll probably calm down after a while.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
part 3: project superstar 2.
Daren Tan outclassed Diya Tan in the battle of the Tans' during last night's project superstar 2 grand final.
well, Daren has always been the favourite between the two.
so it's not surprising that he was crowned champion in the end.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

part 4: all hail team Singapore?

here's the next talking point.
Singapore held Thailand to a draw at the latter's home turf last night, in the second leg of the ASEAN football championship final, therefore winning 3-2 on aggregate.

couldn't believe it.
no, i ain't despising team Singapore.
but the atmosphere over in Thailand is like so much different.
the fact that Singapore's backline was easily breached by the pin-point crosses from the Thais on so many occasions told everything.
in my opinion, they were lucky to have gotten away with a draw.
but still, credit to both parties for playing out a fairly contested affair this time round, unlike the controversy arising from the late penalty decision in the first leg.

the burning question among hardcore Lions fans now has to be whether Singapore can make it to the World Cup within the next decade.
well, that's not beyond the nation's reach, but the players really have to put in 200% and more effort right from this instant for that dream to materialise.

part 5: today's happenings.

been blogging on this post for more than an hour le.
hahas.
just bear with me awhile longer okays? (:

goeg.. didn't print lecture notes again, just like previous mondays.
math.. got permutations and combinations test.
confirm fail liao.
the questions all look so alien to me lor.
civics.. everyone in the class had to write about his/her interests and surprising facts on a piece of coloured paper, which will be pasted on the notice board at the back of our class.
econs.. the lecture went on at the pace of a bullet train, period.
physics.. didn't do superposition tutorial.
cos i don't understand the concepts behind the topic.
die arh. must go read up before this friday's lesson.

okays.
this is the end of my long winded story.
gotta print out today's geog notes first.
then work on that dreaded news commentary.
"dreaded" because i can't seem to hand it in on time. =.=

those memories. 16:10
