hey everyone, i'm back at last.be prepared for another lengthy post...part one ... 4D3N Malaysia trip: 17-20 feb.to be honest, this wasn't a journey too pleasant.although my relatives' friends bore a good attitude throughout.and allowed my family to stay overnight in their house.the numerous traffic jams took the shine off what could have been an enriching trip.day one.. 17 feb.
first traffic jam encountered immediately upon exiting Singapore customs.cleared the Malaysian immigration checkpoint only one hour later.reached Kuala Lumpur about five hours later.settled in at our relatives' friends house shortly after.spent the rest of the day watching tv.dinner was early.by 6pm everybody had eaten.night time, i followed my parents to the adjacent block.they played mahjong while i watched until i was too tired to carry on.returned to the "base camp" at 12.30am the next day.day two.. 18 feb.breakfast was at some vegetarian restaurant.simply delicious, the food didn't taste vegetarian at all (to me).next stop: cameron highlands.didn't make it to the top though.traffic was unexceptionally heavy from the town of Brinchang.had to turn back down after stopping by "Cactus Point".it didn't help that the 69-km road is full of steep corners.and i nearly vomited on the way down.*had to skip lunch, mind you*dinner was at another seafood restaurant.didn't eat alot as i had lost much of my appetite.and finally, slept in early at about 11.without brushing my teeth.zzz.so unhygenic rite.but who gives a damn? (:day three.. 19 feb.perhaps one of the most meaningfully spent days.visited a temple, followed by Berjaya Times Square.most shops there were still closed.but i couldn't care less.the arcade at level 6 was my haven.spent 3-4 hours playing daytona there.also encountered some "bengs" along the way.they challenged me to a game, to which i duly obliged.and of course, i let them win.didn't want to invite trouble. (:night time, visited a kampong area some 45 mins away from KL.there were many kids congregating there.i counted at least ten of them, maybe more.after a light dinner, returned to "base camp" at 9.30.then followed mum to adjacent block again.but i headed for sleep upon entering the doorstep.without brushing my teeth once more.yikes.day four ... 20 feb.finally, it was time to say goodbye.had dim sum for breakfast.then visited a house which provided services like asking about fortune, etc.that was to be the last stop.encountered a third traffic jam on the way home.and perhaps the most serious one too.the reason was a major accident involving at least five vehicles.the extent of congestion was at least 10km.that is not helped by the large numbers of Singapore-registered cars returning.we cleared Singapore customs at about 6.nearly two hours off schedule.not to mention that i had to skip lunch yet again.had fish head steamboat at ang mo kio block 530 before heading home.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~part two ... today's happenings.keke.so i promised to leave out the details.bt guess i got too carried away.anyway, returned home at 8.30+ last night.with quite a fair bit of homework to complete.and as expected, i didn't do everything.which explains why today was like so FUCKED up.first period, GP.never complete news article.again.worse, there were more tasks assigned by our tutor.AQ corrections by next mon, group essay presentation by next wed...damn la.next up, econs lecture.pretended to pay attention.where actually my soul is a thousand miles away in dreamland.geog tutorial.. consolidated info on the poster for global warming.and finally, econs tutorial.that was when my mineral water got "poisoned".well, not exactly la.just that four M&M chocolates were added to the water.only one word can describe the resultant mixture.puke-able.diaox.lesson-wise, it wasn't as boring as i initially thought it would be.but there's homework assigned.wtf.the balance of payments worksheet.plus the DRQ on national income.all by tmr.damn la.cca meeting afterward was another slacking affair.discussion for 30 minutes.then dismissed le.now i'm in a sibei bad mood.don't ask why.i won't entertain such stupid questions.end of story.total blogging time today: 97 minutes.
