had econs and physics paper today. surprisingly, they didn't turn out as dificult as i originally thought they would be. i'm proud to announce that for the first time ever, i could complete the econs case study component within the stipulated 1 hour 10 minutes. but still, i'm maintaining my target score of 45%. as for physics, the multiple-choice section was a goner. fortunately, the structured questions were relatively manageable. another good pass should be in the bag there. (: on the other hand, i'm not as optimistic when it comes to GP. as usual, i couldn't complete all my content paragraphs for the essay. and left 5 marks worth of short questions blank for compre. but at least i wrote much more for the application question this time. (: fast sia. tmr is already the last day of common tests for majority of my class. yet tmr's double bill of geog and maths is the one i fear most. now i'm still trying to make sense of the case studies for geog. and sadly i'll have to give up maths this time. while maths may be my best subject back in sec school, times have changed. maths at 'A' levels require much more practice in order to score well. and i've clearly not done sufficient preparation for that. oh well. no point regretting now. it's been a week since i received my new laptop. and i wish it had come with windows XP instead. windows vista lengthens the loading time for startup among other things. and the laptop has hung on me several times already. maybe that's because i'm still a newbie at using laptops the right way. tdy's papers ended around 4pm. mum was at hougang mall when i came back. doing last-minute shopping before the impending GST rate hike. played maple for awhile, completing some quests but didn't really train. tmr den i chiong to 92, and shining ray would be maxed. (: okay. gtg do some last-min studying for geog le. bye~
