Today's my second last day of work at DOS. The past three months have been a really wonderful period. Will miss all my friendly colleagues and supervisors (regardless whether already left or still working now). But then again, there's always Facebook.
Flashback to the time when I first stepped into the training room at The Treasury building on 22nd March, the first person whom I actually talked to, his name is Teng Kuang. Really respect your mature attitude in life.
25th March, first day officially at work - Was attached to a colleague from the first batch, her name is Xin Ni. That was the time when there were FIVE Chinese language experts, but by mid-May only three slots were left.
Some of my colleagues from my batch, I didn't really talk to them much until their last days of service, like Elissa, Lorraine, Michael, Marissa and Phyllis. Perhaps one of the few regrets that I have during my time here.
The night shift workforce reached its peak in early June, when there were 86 staff in total. In comparison, right now there are only about 23 people left, and by mid-July the strength will probably be cut by another 50%. The crowded scenes and 'chopping' of seats in the office have become just another story of the past.
This coming Friday will be my last day of service, as mentioned earlier in this post. Here, I would like to wish everyone whom I'd met at work since March, all the best for your future endeavours. And hope there might be a DOS staff reunion in time to come. Cheers. =)
