It's approaching the end of my second month working in StarHub, and I have already seen many of my colleagues come and go.
From my batch: Evangeline, Jaymie, Priscilla; Subsequent batches: Lena, Chariot
But of course many new faces have taken over, the 1633 hotline is always in need of dedicated operators who provide excellent customer service.
In terms of social life, only two words can describe the current status: No Life. Working overtime for at least 1.5 hours everyday on morning shift, and one hour for night shift.
Some of my colleagues have asked why I had to toil so hard for just $2k a month. The reason is clear and simple: Now that I have a baby brother, it's even more important to supplement my family's expenses, at least for the next two years or so. Studies or Class 3 licence can come later. And $2k a month is relatively decent, considering this job is only temporary (But I have informed that I'm keen to stay on longer, for another 6 months at least). It is almost impossible to find a similarly good-paying job given my lowly 'A' Level qualifications, unless you are talking about sales-oriented jobs.
Some media uploads before I sign off for the day. Will try to post new entries/pictures more often than just once or twice a month, provided there are interesting enough incidents to report.
