HELLO EVERYBODY~Yet another long overdue post (Kinda lazy to post nowadays since there were no fresh happenings). As promised, I shall let the pictures do most of the talking.13th March was my last day at the Tai Seng office of Starhub. With effect from the 14th, I have been relocated to the new Commonwealth office, along with about 15 other temp staffs. What I will miss at Tai Seng:- The mixed vegetable rice stall at Golden 88 Cafeteria (Left picture).- The proximity to my house: Direct bus, up to 30 mins transport time to and from office. What I will NOT miss at Tai Seng:- The small pantry (Right picture). Even the one at Level 2 still feels small compared to the new pantry here at Commonwealth.- As the office is located in the heart of light industrial area, when it comes to nightfall, you'll start to see many groups of people congregating. Along park connectors, beside the shophouses, you name them, I have them. Kinda unsafe, especially for ladies.
In comparison, the Commonwealth office is located in close proximity to the heartlands. There is also a slightly greater variety of choices when it comes to food, there's even a Long John Silvers. However, the transport fare is far more costly (about double of that at Tai Seng).
--------------------------------------------------------------30th March 2011: Wedding banquet at Gim Tim Restaurant, The Grassroots Club (beside Yio Chu Kang MRT station)This banquet is for some distant relative on my father's side, which I had never met before.Nevertheless, as my parents had to attend a separate banquet at The Amara hotel, I had to be present as the representative. The food quality was decent, though not fantastic.

After the banquet ended at 10.45pm, I headed straight down to Clarke Quay to join my Starhub colleagues at Rebel/Zirca.To cut the long story short, it was a mind-blowing experience, especially since this was the first time (READ: First time) that I ever stepped into a club.Random pic taken onboard the train south-bound to Marina Bay that night:
Wei Kiat will be turning one in less than three months. He is getting more and more chubby by the minute..
--------------------------------------------------------------Have successfully converted to permstaff at Starhub since 1st April. This comes with more responsibilities of course, but I will definitely work hard to try and meet the company's targets.Next week onwards, I'll be attending full training for one month - indirectly causing my Annual Leave on 13/14 April to be affected.Since there would not be much free time after this week, tonight I will be going to Zouk for another round of clubbing.Hope I won't get addicted to such a high-expenditure hobby though.Okay going off for lunch now. Till next time folks~
those memories. 12:05
