7th May: Polling Day.

Accompanied my parents to Bowen Secondary around 5pm, to cast the sacred vote for GE 2011.
It was all very orderly in the polling station, within five minutes we managed to get the votes into the ballot box.
That night I stayed up till nearly 3am to await the results from the election - Potong Pasir was decided by a mere 100+ votes.
And as everybody should have known by now (unless you don't even bother about the election), the WP has not only retained Hougang, they have gone a step further to take down Aljunied GRC as well.
We shall see how Mr Low Thia Khiang and company performs in the next five years..

20th May: Powerhouse.

This was (only) my tenth time at a club/pub, and is one of the more awesome nights so far.
Had come to the exact same venue less than a week ago on 14th, and I ended up totally wasted lol.
Met Timothy at Harbourfront MRT at 10.15, and his friend Amelia about half an hour later.
We opened the second bottle of Belvedere vodka (left over from last week), the mixer tasted kinda weird, not sure if it is raspberry or some other drink.
All I could remember now was that Timo had ordered a third bottle.
Around 1.30+ another group of guys+girls came around to our table, and they might have helped to tank part of the bottle, but whether it was finished eventually, I could not say for sure.

Okay, I have to admit that I'm not that good a drinker yet.
From 2am onwards I had to use ice cubes to keep myself sober enough and continue dancing away to the great music.
The music played at ph is WAY better than Rebel/Zirca. Seriously.
Last song played by DJ was Bruno Mars "Marry You" at 3.40am.
Once the dust settled, I tried to text/call Timo but was still unable to find him. =.=
Eventually left the premises first and somehow bumped into my ex-NS campmate Darren, and his group of friends.
What a small world indeed.
Shared cab with one of his friends, Derrick, who also stays in Hougang.
Homed at close to 4am - this is already considered early..

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

30th March: First club entry - Rebel/Zirca
6th April: Zouk/Phuture
15th April: Rebel/Zirca
29th April: Supposed to spend the night at Powerhouse, but one of my friends could actually forget to bring her IC. -.- Eventually spent the night out at Sentosa Boardwalk
4th & 11th May: Rebel/Zirca
13th May: J Bar @ M Hotel (quite a high-end pub IMO)
14th May: PH
20th May: PH again..

Honestly speaking, the free entry for SAFRA card members is luring me away from Rebel or Zouk nowadays.
But will try at all cost to avoid Saturday nights, the crowd level is crazy, far worse than the heavy traffic you see along the Causeway.

Next up: Butter Factory on this coming Wed the 25th. It is the last day of service for some of my StarHub colleagues, hence they will be having a party night out.
Personally I have never been to BF before, so it remains to be seen whether the experience there will surpass any of the other clubs I had previously visited.

This coming week, my night shift pattern continues (11.30am-9pm).
Given the long 1 hour journey from Hougang to Commonwealth, I wouldn't mind handling the last stream of calls coming in before 9pm in exchange for waking up later. (:

Countdown to 2nd year anniversary with dear / 1st birthday celebration of baby bro: 27 days.

those memories. 09:17
